1.Warranty Overview
At NotJust4X4, we stand behind the quality of our products. All products sold by NotJust4X4 come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, giving you peace of mind when upgrading your 4x4.
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
2.Warranty Coverage
2.1 If NotJust4X4 Performs the Installation
When you choose our professional fitment service, we provide warranty coverage on all parts and components we supply and install. This includes:
All supplied parts – full warranty on product defects
Installation-related issues – if a problem arises due to the installation process, we've got you covered
Parts affected by improper installation – we take responsibility for our workmanship
Peace of Mind: With our professional installation, you get complete coverage. If anything goes wrong, we'll make it right.
2.2 If Installation Is Performed by Others: Self-Install or Third-Party
If the product is not installed by NotJust4X4, our warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that are not caused by or related to the installation process.
Covered: Manufacturing defects, material failures, or product faults that are not related to how the product was installed.
Not Covered: Damage or failure caused by improper installation, incorrect fitting, or installation by a third party or self-installation.
Important: If you choose to install the product yourself or use a third-party installer, please ensure the installation is carried out correctly according to the manufacturer's instructions. Improper installation may void the warranty for issues directly related to the installation.
3.What Is Covered
Our 12-month warranty covers:
Manufacturing Defects: Cracks, structural failure, material defects
Hardware Failure: Bolts, brackets, locking mechanisms failing under normal use
Finish Defects: Powder-coating defects, rusting not caused by environmental factors
Functional Failures: Electrical faults for powered items and mechanical failures during normal use
4.What Is Not Covered
The following are excluded from warranty coverage:
Normal Wear and Tear: Expected deterioration from regular use
Misuse or Abuse: Off-road damage beyond normal 4x4 use, impact damage, or overloading
Modifications: Unauthorised modifications or alterations to the product
Improper Maintenance: Failure to maintain the product according to care instructions
Installation Errors for Non-NotJust4X4 Installs: Damage caused by incorrect installation
Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, stone chips, or fading from sun exposure
Third-Party Products: Products not manufactured or supplied by NotJust4X4
5.Making a Warranty Claim
Step 1: Contact Us

Date of purchase
Description of the issue
Photos or videos of the defect, if applicable
Step 2: Assessment
Our team will assess your claim and may request additional information or arrange an inspection if the product was installed by NotJust4X4.
Step 3: Resolution
If your claim is approved, we will, at our discretion:
Repair the defective product
Replace the product with a new or refurbished equivalent
Refund the purchase price if repair or replacement is not possible
6.Warranty Claim Processing
Warranty claims will be processed within 10 business days of receiving all required information.
If the product needs to be returned, we will provide instructions for shipping.
For products installed by NotJust4X4, we may arrange an inspection at our Notting Hill, VIC location.
7.Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, NotJust4X4's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product. NotJust4X4 is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of our products.

Nothing in this warranty policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer in Australia.

This Warranty Policy is effective as of the date stated above and replaces all previous versions. NotJust4X4 reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
