About Not Just 4X4 — 4WD & UTE Accessories
Not Just 4X4 is a Melbourne-based specialist in 4WD and UTE accessories, built around a simple promise: Built to outlast. Priced to be fair. We supply and professionally install quality equipment for Australia’s most popular vehicles, helping drivers protect their tubs, organise their gear and carry more with confidence. From aluminium canopies and roller covers to roof platforms and tub accessories, every product we offer is chosen for strength, fitment accuracy and long-term durability in real Australian conditions.
Our Product Range
Aluminium Canopies — Our aluminium canopies are designed to fit specific tub dimensions, providing secure, weather-protected storage for tools, camping gear and work equipment. Constructed from lightweight yet strong aluminium, they keep your load protected from the elements while maintaining easy access. A canopy is an excellent choice for tradies, campers and anyone who regularly carries valuable or weather-sensitive gear and wants it locked away and out of the weather.
Electric Roller Covers — Our electric roller covers offer app control and remote operation, with features such as anti-pinch protection, integrated LED lighting and a durable aluminium barrel. The cover opens and closes at the touch of a button, making it a convenient option for daily use and touring alike. If you want the convenience of powered operation and a clean, low-profile look, an electric roller cover is hard to beat.
Manual Roller Covers — For drivers who prefer a simpler, dependable solution, our manual roller covers provide multi-position locking and robust construction at a lower price point, without compromising on strength or weather protection. Manual covers are a proven, low-maintenance option that many owners choose for their reliability and straightforward operation.
Roof Platforms and Cross Bars — Our roof platforms bolt directly to your vehicle’s roof rails, providing a stable base for rooftop tents, awnings, spare wheels and other gear. Matching cross bars offer a lighter-duty option for everyday loads. Roof storage is a smart way to free up space in the tub for larger or heavier items while keeping frequently used gear within reach.
Tub Hard Lids, Sports Bars and More — We also stock tub hard lids, side steps, bonnet protectors, sports bars and a range of supporting accessories, so you can build out your 4WD or UTE exactly the way you need it. Each accessory is selected to complement the rest of your setup and to hold up under genuine off-road and daily-driving use.
Vehicles We Support
Our products are engineered to fit a broad range of popular Australian vehicles, including the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, GWM Cannon, Isuzu D-MAX, Nissan Navara, Jeep Gladiator, Mitsubishi Triton and Volkswagen Amarok, among others. Because fitment varies between models, years and variants — for example, whether your vehicle has factory roof rails or a particular tub profile — we recommend confirming compatibility with our team before you order. We’re happy to verify the correct fit for your specific vehicle and year so you can buy with confidence.
Professional Fitment in Melbourne
Our Notting Hill workshop offers professional installation by experienced technicians, so you can have your canopy or roller cover fitted correctly the first time. Proper installation matters: it ensures weather sealing, smooth operation and long-term reliability. If you’re not local to Melbourne, we ship Australia-wide and can provide guidance so you or a trusted local installer can complete the fitment with confidence.
Quality That’s Built to Outlast
Built to outlast means we focus on quality materials, solid construction and reliable operation rather than cutting corners to chase the lowest price. Our products are selected to withstand the harsh Australian climate — from extreme heat and UV exposure to dust, mud and rain — while continuing to operate smoothly year after year. We would rather recommend a product that lasts than one that simply looks cheap on paper.
Priced to Be Fair
Priced to be fair means competitive, transparent pricing without unnecessary premium markup. We believe drivers should be able to buy dependable equipment at a sensible price, without paying for brand hype. That’s why we focus on value: honest pricing for gear that genuinely performs, backed by local support and after-sales care you can actually reach.
Shipping Australia-Wide
Based in Melbourne, we ship our full range across Australia. Whether you’re in a capital city or a regional area, we can get your canopy, roller cover or accessory to you — and if you need help arranging installation, we’re here to point you in the right direction.
Buying Guide: Choosing the Right Accessory
Before you buy, consider how you use your vehicle. If you carry tools or camping gear and need secure, weatherproof storage, an aluminium canopy or hard lid is a strong choice. If you want quick, convenient access to your tub with a clean profile, a roller cover — electric or manual — may suit you better. If you regularly load gear up top, a roof platform or cross bars add useful carrying capacity. Not sure which option fits your needs? Our team is happy to talk through the trade-offs and recommend the right setup for your vehicle and lifestyle.
